Infancy:
Birth to 24 Months

The Infancy Stage is defined as the time right after birth to about 2 years old. During the first two years of a child's life he or she will quadruple in weight, grow about 14 inches, develop a full head of hair, and develop their own unique personality. Infants grow in many areas, but I will describe the three main ones, physical, cognitive, and social & emotional development. I will also relate my own personal growth along side of the national standards. In my infancy photo album are pictures that help illustrate my own personal growth.
