Middle to Late Childhood:
Photos of Development
My first day of school. Mom had to go to work early, so I waited outside my sitter's house for the bus to arrive to take me to preschool. I'm a big sister again!! On Friday the 13th of May, my second sister, Katie, finally decided to join us. She was so cute, I couldn't wait to help mom take care of her.
Here I am standing tall and proud at my preschool graduation. I couldn't wait till next year when I went to kindergarten. My whole kindergarten class. We were so small that they didn't need two sections. I enjoyed getting to know each other and learning new things like reading, writing, and math
Santa decided to come and visit us. He looked like a close family friend, but I didn't mind not sitting on his lap. I will let Katie take my place. Here I am at the end of kindergarten. Mom decided to snap a picture on my kindergarten play day. I got to spend the whole day playing with my friends.
My Kitty. I didn't own any pets, but one of our friends let me take care of two of his kittens. Molly was the smaller one that I watched grow up. Pokey was my favorite of the two kittens. He loved to hide under the couch and play hide and seek. He also love to poke just his nose out from under the couch.
Mom and Dad decided that they were going to give out photos of us for Christmas. I had to make sure Katie stayed still because she had almost fallen off the stool once already. Merry Christmas Princess. During the summer of 1990, my family and I adopted a black puppy, whom I named Princess. I pretend to be her mother and she was my baby. She still is my baby.

Don't I look pretty? This is my one and only religious education classmate at our first communion. CCD was always fun because we always got to do the cool projects since there were only two of us. Since we had been working hard all week, we got to go outside to play on the swings in second grade. But, before we could start to play, we had to line up for a photo for our teacher.

Good at Balance? Not on roller-skates. Our second grade field trip included a stop at the skating rink. It was my first time skating and everyone was passing me.  We really don't want to go back to school. A group of friends hangout during our second grade field trip. We were "waiting" for the bus to come and pick us up and take us back to school.
.
We are going to the Zoo; how about you? My third grade class field trip was to the zoo. We took a stop at the local battleship memorial to take a picture. Two classes became one. The beginning our third grade year, our school consolidated with a smaller school. We had the opportunity to add more classmates and make new friends.

A couple of years had passed since our last family photo, and the photographer was coming to town. So, Mom dressed us all up nice and we went and had our photo taken. Mount Rushmore again?? It was my second or third time; however, it was Katie's first time. I got to play big sister and hold her hand so she didn't get lost.
